The Speed Clinic was founded to provide customized Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) training to youth athletes looking to get the edge of improved quickness and explosive power in their sport. Our programs take into consideration the athletes age, gender and sport, so our custom SAQ programs safely maximize the individual potential of our participants in a positive and fun atmosphere.
Our Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) programs are designed for the youth athletes that want to maximize their athletic potential. Today we have access to more tools and training methods for youth athletic development than ever before. Further, current research establishes the potential of our training programs to significantly affect a youth athletes quickness, power and agility.
Plyometric training program’s are proven to safely impact youth athletic performance. A recent study of a U11 Greek youth soccer team found that players that included a weekly plyometric training program significantly improved their performance in speed, leg strength (striking power), agility, and vertical leap over those that only attended soccer practices.
Speed Clinic’s SAQ programs are designed to facilitate the formation of explosive power and speed at the developmental stages and teach the kids how to build and retain their progress.
